"LANIUS!"
That got his attention. He turned, every so slightly and slowly, back to me. Wade was wriggling in his grip, trying to pry himself loose. But I know from personal experience that once you end up there, you ain't coming out. Unless he wants you to.
"Gideon," he breathed. I ascended the hill, loosening the straps on my holsters, removing the ones on my Gladius's. My hands touched the golden pommels, moving over them, ending up on the red handles. I gripped them, pulling them forward slightly, feeling them push up against my coat. Step over step, pushing past the bodies of the NCR Rangers who lay in my way, decapitated, until I was within lunging distance with him.
He watched my ever step with the interest of a predator. To him, and to me, this was a day long coming for over a decade. No one else, not my friends or the angels. Just me... and him.
"This is between you, and me."
"Indeed it is."
Before I could blink, he tossed Wade hand over hand at me. I felt him impact me, fall over me, flopping down the hill a long ways away. At least he'll be out of the way. Then I saw something catch the sun high over me, and I rolled away. I heard the heavy thump, like metric tons of force being loosed. I rose to my feet, drawing my Gladius's.
Lanius turned his head towards me, lathargically, as he yanked that monster blade of his from the ground. He rose to his feet, the wind catching on his scarlet cape, blowing away like a bat at flight.
"Hic finis est mortem."
This ends in death. I replied in kind:
"Mors tua est?"
"We shall see... Mortemus."
Then he charged.

Interesting indeed.
Still this is the other version of Wade Nilsson that he ended up being the Courier, he will be used in a new different Fallout 4 story that Desert Ranger has in mind.
Overall you got my interested for the fight.
