More watercolor fanart, woop woop! This time made just because I wanted to~I knew I had to draw these gems sometime from the first time I saw them, and I still want to draw Peridot and Lapis and pretty much all the characters haha. Gotta love the characters of the Steven Universe series. C:
FYI: There's a TON of series and stuff that I've never drawn fanart of that I'm still a huge fan of, so don't be surprised if I suddenly express intense affection for stuff you've never heard me mention before. cx So many fictional worlds to enjoy, too little time~

Ok, so I started with coloring Garnet, and just chose some background colors that I thought suited her color scheme. Then I noticed that I could make a pink diamond shape in the middle if I did a similar thing with the others, which would make the four portraits seem more united. (+bonus symbolism? Because Pink Diamond were the one they rebelled against~) And I chose green/orange/blue as the other background colors because I thought they complimented the character colors fairly well. c: So a mixture between a lucky coincidence, instinct and thinking basically xD
