Another great couple of pages! I love the designs and lore you've made for this world; it's so interesting and it all looks so Mediterranean! So is this specifically a Sol temple? c:
Looking forward to future pages! It's going to look so nice printed!
(Also just watched the latest Steven Universe, and my heart is still recovering)

Oh man, I'm so glad you like it! And it's pretty cool that you picked up on the Mediterranean vibes, as the town Aiden lives in has been inspired by a small spanish town I know well, which lies by the Mediterranean sea! : D Although Aiden's town doesn't lie by the sea, it's way up in a mountaneous region. ;3
And yeah, this is indeed a Solar temple! There's a Lunar temple in town too, with all female monks. c:
(Oh yeah, tell me about it! This whole "dealing with Steven's feelings about Rose" thing is tough on my feelings D: )

Holy turtle is adorable. I don't blame the kid for wanting to pet it.
I... wouldn't discount tales that tie in with your religion. Awful dicey to say "this part is real, that part is not."
Adoring the heck out of these monks. Just a really neat design overall.

Heck yeah! Too bad that Aiden has a monopoly on petting the holy turtle D: Well, good for Aiden, bad for everyone else.
Yeah, dicey indeed! The Solunars disregard the tales of Oblivion as folklore because they're not part of their ancient texts, but that's never been a particularly good reason to disregard anything o:'
I'm so glad! I adore them also~

Haha yeah she does xD All reptiles are sacred to some degree, but Aku's particular species of turtle is considered the holiest of all ;D And yet Aiden is allowed to stuff him in a bag... It makes sense, I promise! cx
The dark side of the force, lol xD Yeah, it's something like that, though to be fair to Yama the tales of Oblivion are more like folklore than actual legends: They're not even written down, only passed down via word of mouth. The Solunar religion gets most of their lore from a couple of ancient texts, so they naturally disregard anything that's not part of those texts, as religious orders sometimes do.
I'll be looking for a faster technique, definitively! I think I know a few, but they would change the style a bit too much to my liking. I wanna keep the style consistent within the chapter, so I'll stick to the one I know until I discover a way to color that's faster but gives the same result. But when the next chapter comes sometime in the far-off future, maybe I'll change the style quite a bit for efficiency's sake x) Hopefully I'll get a bit faster anyway as I get more experienced. c:
And pffft I'm glad you like his pose, it's my favourite thing about this page xD
