Description
One Piece was the first manga I read, thinking about it makes me feel all nostalgic. c:Zoro is one of my very favourite characters, along with... All of them, actually xD Gosh, that manga has some amazing characters!
About the swords... I feel bad for not bothering to draw them correctly.
Edit: I changed the title from "Chibi Zolo" to "Chibi Zoro", because so many people seemed to be confused by it. x)

cute work, hes my fav! but i will let you know the name issue - see, in America they didn't have the copyrights to use the name ZORO which is his real name no matter how you read or hear it - that's why the fansubs do it correctly and use Zoro -plus the sword thing gives it away too XD --- the other name (which i will not mention bec. i was shocked about it when i found out they had to change it and on top of that fox kids took out Sanji's cigarette and turned it into a lollipop >< not that i agree with smoking - bec. it does make me sick but that's his character so why change him for little kids when it's meant for everyone @_@ sorry - i got side tracked - i just hated how the english one was done) anywho.... it is Zoro not the other name i do not dare to mention --- fantastic work though

i know! it changes everything - he's not some little kid >< and he's also such a ladies man - i never watched the other but i wonder what they would do about him hitting on girls so much XD well he gets turned down a lot but still --- plus what would they do with Smoker!? o_0 i just hate when they try to edit things out for little kids
i heard they did it with Sailor Moon and Pokemon too - with SM they turned the two lesbians into cousins and pokemon i think has a little bit more blood and violence in it then is shown - plus they didnt even air the swimsuit episode where James dressed up like a woman in full boobs showing and everything CX that would have been funny to see - plus i sooo think hes gay in the show too

oh, and one more tid bit of info - i know japanese and there is no L in it - its R only that can sound like an L but it's really the R sound for Zoro and RU - so LU for Luffy in his name - it just depends on how the mangaka writes it in english when they do for exact pronunciations but also when you hear it it sounds more like Luffy and Zoro (and i think he has written the english at least once for them like that - so thats also where we get our name answers from) soooooo sorry for my rants >/\<

thanks for letting me rant - i like to know things too, thats why i look stuff up a lot on things i like =3 there are soooo many things that get taken out or unaired bec. the USA is trying more to market for kids rather than everyone

I believe 'Zolo' is the Japanese way of pronouncing it, but I'm not Japanese so I always pronounce it as Zoro. I think it just depends on how you like it. On another note, I have a friend who's obsessed with anything Zoro or One Piece related so she'll love this to bits. It's adorable~

Mhm, the way I understand it, to Japanese ears, there's no difference between the sound of the letters "l" and "r". So there the names are the same, really, when they're pronounced, it get's a bit confusing once they translate it into English. That's what I've heard, at least.
I say Zoro myself, actually, I'm just used to seeing it written as Zolo in the mangas I own. ;3

I think it's mostly because they don't differentiate between the letters "l" and "r" in Japan, that makes Zoro=Zolo and Luffy=Rufy, and so on^^
But I agree with you, his name is not as important as his awesomeness

Yeah, when I read it at OneManga, his name was Zoro, but later, when I bought the first volumes in English, his name was Zolo :3 So I suppose it's fine with both~
