I should have made this a long time ago. This has a double purpose: help my readers visualize the world I've put together and help me keep continuity in my story.

This is a map showing the meshed Zelda/ Fire Emblem world of my fics Time Cannot Erase and Among the Ashes . This map combines some elements of real maps related to the games and some stuff I just made up ^^ I've tried really hard to create a "realistic" world here with time/space/ size continuity and all. I like to relate abstract things to concrete things I understand, so I have included some comparisons and stats below that should help you orient yourself within the map. I will continue to update this map as the story progresses to reflect new/ pertinent info for you all! Enjoy!

Map Details:
This map covers an area ≈ 11.8 million sq mi (≈10 million sq mi not counting water)
*Africa ≈ 11.7 million sq mi of land
*North American continent ≈ 9.5 million sq mi

*Hyrule ≈ 270,000 sq mi
*Texas ≈ 260,000 sq mi
*Great Britain ≈ 230,000 sq mi

*Lake Hylia ≈ 22,000 sq mi (≈same size as Lake Michigan)
*Gerudo Desert ≈ 90,000 sq mi (≈same size as Aritia)
*Larger Desert ≈ 585,000 sq mi altogether (≈size of Alaska or slightly smaller than Mexico)
*Hyrule field ≈ 22,500 sq mi (≈same size as West Virginia)

*Aritia ≈ 90,000 sq mi
*Wyoming ≈ 97,000 sq mi
*Utah ≈ 87,000 sq mi

*Elibe ≈ 1,620,000 sq mi (≈half the size of the United States)

*Akanea (former empire) ≈ 1,147,500 sq mi

*Distance from Hyrule Castle to Aritia Castle ≈ 1800 mi
*United states ≈ 3,000 mi from West Coast to East Coast
*Distance from California coast to Missouri ≈ 1800 mi

*Distance from Aritia to Pharae ≈ 450 mi
*≈ same distance as it is from San Francisco, across Nevada to the Utah border

*Emigration across the Oregon trail took 4-6 months by wagon train to go 2,000 mi
*The Pony Express crossed approximately the same distance in 10 days
*At a slow/casual pace on horseback the journey from Hyrule to Aritia takes about 3-4 months
*At a steady/quick pace it could be done in a month or 2
*At breakneck speed- less than a month (but it is technically possible)

Hyrule: Home of Link and Zelda (Duh )
Aritia: Home of Marth and Elice and Roy
Pharae: Village Roy is originally from
Dolua: Elice was taken captive into Dolua by the dark dragon Medeus
Talis: Marth stayed here during his exile
Kadden: Link and the Sages stopped here briefly on their way to Aritia in TCE
Farren: Country Zelda's failed suitor Fabian is Prince of
