I love the idea of Fang and Lightning as fucking space marines! Investigating lost ships, Β S.O.S signals, planets made of pure liquid water with floating human settlements and getting into bar fights in all the colony bars! Lightning would have lived her entire life in space (seeing as coccoon is essentially a moon) and Fang from Pulse, and seeing Fang get adjusted to life/culture in space... makes me want to write, but I'm lazy... and never finish anything.

Ooooo I hope you do. Fang and Lightning getting into bar fights with aliens would be so so epic, *keeping fingers and toes crossed*. I know exactly how that feels and quite agree with Dorothy Parker and your good self. I'm also of the mind with these great ideas for fanfics that I don't want to write them, I want to read them.

Nah, not really. Lightning and Liara are both voiced by Ali Hillis though, so Lightning sounds like angry Liara from Mass Effect 2 all the time. Other than that, they're pretty different. Fang is basically a powerhouse with a rather cocky/flirty/confident personality (and constantly has sex eyes). Lightning describes her as having a "wild fearlessness". And Lightning is an uptight soldier/ jack of all trades, who likes to hit people. They have amazing chemistry but they're not canon. Fang and Vanille are semi-canon (as in they hint at it but never actually say it) but as much as I love Vanille, the chemistry these two have is just UMPH!Β
