And for sunsets, I recommend you use a orangey-pinkish palette for them and maybe blue..

well I looked at some oriental drawings before and i guess that inspired me a little ^^
Yes I would usually do that but this time I wanted the background to be maily in his yey color my I wnated to use deep red
It sure isn't very realistic but I think it fits the character quite nicely...
