Ok, it's incomplete... but I liked it enough to post it ^_^ It's going to be a submission to entervoid.com's comic battles.

Long... skip if you don't want to be bored

I tried hard to make this guy unique, hence a long backstory... Basically, he's from a sort of cyberpunk setting. He becomes the victim of a rare disease that causes the deterioration of his nervous system, and so, his father, a leading corporate cyberneticist, desperate, authorizes the a series of experimental spinal/nervous system implants, which have the side effect of granting him inhuman reflexes and near perfect motor control, and require regular treatments to rejuvenate. The (evil! ) corporation isn't too happy with this 'waste of resources' and strikes a deal with the scientist. They will 'own' the subject for eight years, after which he will be free. He undergoes two years of intense training and 'orientation', before being sent out to the field on all sorts of messy corporate missions (ie sabotage, espionage, assassination) under the callsign Eidolon. He continues to work for the corp because he needs their treatments to live. Near the end of his term, his father, deathly ill, relates all the details about his condition and his servitude, and urges Eidolon to flee. Resentful and angry, Eidolon refuses to listen. The scientist dies, and the corp reneges on their deal - Eidolon has been quite successful. He decides to flee, and steals vital data, as well as several pieces of equipment. During his escape, he flees through an experimental portal and ends up on another world. Here, he discovers that by injecting human spinal fluids, he can prevent the deterioration of his implants (well... that was a bit gory, but I bet no one ever thought of that! ). His goal is to one day cure himself. Of course, he has to deal with all the various fighters in the city and their agendas, as well as more corporate assassins sent to retrieve his technology.
