First, it can mean that llamas are awesome. Which they clearly are. Second, it can mean that llamas turn us into mindless minion and can be a half ironic critic about how people get all excited about llamas.

Oh, lol! I didn't quite figure out what you were talking about at first. Yes, they are awesome; and, yes, the llama-craze has turned to obsession.

LOL, that's okay. Everyone makes mistakes. The only time I turn into a Grammar Nazi is when people don't even try.

LOL! I honestly hadn't realized that English wasn't your first language. I'd imagine it would be even harder to keep which language you're trying to speak straight, with two languages as similar as English and German.
I do that sometimes, too. I have a deaf cousin who's just a little older than I am, so I grew up "speaking" fluent ASL (American Sign Language). Sometimes, when I encounter someone who speaks very little to no English, instead of miming what I'm trying to say, I sometimes find myself signing to them! It's like, how exactly is that supposed to help? lol

I grew up bilingual, English and Sign Language, but the two are so radically different I never had any trouble. I took French and some Japanese in school, but I've lost all but the most basic French.
Miming what you want does work very well! So does signing, to a point. A lot of signs are basically that. But some aren't immediately obvious, and some are just really obscure unless you're in on the "secret". For example, the sign for "white" is to make a plucking motion at your stomach. The two don't look like they should be related at all ... unless you realize that the sign is referencing a T-shirt, which is usually white, and the plucking motion represents pinching the fabric.

I started learning japanese a month ago. The grammar rules seem to be easy so far, but I can't get the kanji in my head, let alone writing them on paper. Also had latin for eight years in school, but I forgot everything. But it might come in handy if I start learning spanish, which I always wanted.

I remember having a hard time with the grammar, especially articles. Then, again, I never took it seriously. I was taking that class mainly because I needed to fill that time slot. I went to a small town high school, and was taking all advanced classes, which actually limited what electives I could take. General classes of all the "core" subjects were available at any time slot, but advanced classes only had one or two. So, basically it came down to weightlifting (with a bunch of rednecks, mind you), Japanese, or Latin. And I was taking French at the same time, so I decided that Latin was out. Japanese was kind of a random choice (this was back in 2002, before Japanese was "cool") but it was also kind of fun learning all the hiragana, and I really liked how everything made sense. With the exception of "desu", no letters or words were silent, and you could tell just by sounding it out exactly how to spell a word. I still answer the phone with a "mushi mushi!" every so often.
I've been wanting to take Spanish, too. Here in the States, the Hispanic population is getting larger and larger, until now they're something like 30% of the population. And I work in a service industry (pest control) so I run into customers all the time who speak very little to no Spanish. French seems to be my biggest hang-up with learning Spanish, though -- a lot of times, when I'm trying to think of the Spanish word, even though I know the word, all I can think of is the French.

This made me laugh. dA has finally been taken over by llamas.
By the way, there's a lot of contests going on right now you could enter this into...you'd have a good chance of winning.

Awesome!
Could be a little smoother. Try adding a few more frames in each instead of making such big jumps!
