Description
Straight out of Lord of the Rings
Taken from the skyline viewing place atop Queenstown, New Zealand. Some crazy views thats for sure! This particular peak is called Walter Peak(thanks ~catch-the-light2 )Edited the sky to give it some evilness

Is it snowy? Is that very volcanic? But the evil sky is totally working... and NZ has awesome landscape, I'm so glad they filmed it there

I love LOTR. And I nearly forgot that New Zealand is the heart of the movie! Certainly a majestic-looking mountain. Awesome capture and edit!

After Lord of the Rings came out I reread the books and realized that the way I imagined it after the movies was entirely different from the way I imagined it the first time I read them. NZ will always be middle-earth to me.

Another mountain landscape. I love the moody sky here though, but yeah not exactly a original subject. Everyone else loves it though, it's well executed.
