It's a pity that dA doesn't do photo-essays really well. I would really love to see this whole train-trip series together. You have really captured something classic here - has the feel of a Time-Life 6 page spread.
Me personally, I would like to see a few more words about each one, because the pictures imply so many options - makes me curious!

A photo should tell its own story ... even if it is more than one - possible - story. As photographer, I can reply to questions about the where and when etc. The rest is the viewer's job.
