Youd be surprised how cheap steampunk goggles go for on ebay. They're more expensive on Etsy, but at least you dont have to battle snipers.

I have some nifty goggles of my own that I used for a cosplay some years back, but I can't see without my glasses and contacts give me a headache, so unless I get eye corrective surgery or prescription goggles, I'm boned ):
