Description
Another successful light up piece with a switch!Zecora is made of apoxie sculpt and super sculpey over a wire and foil armature, painted with acrylics, and sealed with matte acrylic spray. Height-wise, Zecora stands a little over 7 1/2 inches including the base. She has a 3V LED in her staff.

The wires are baked into the clay and then all the other electrical components are put on. Thanks for the compliment!

Wow and then some to what you have here CadmiumCrab and extra hats off to anyone who credit that evil wicked enchantress, lol. Have to say very ambitious both in terms of the idea of the light up staff as well as the pose from most deviants always sticking to the usual pony poses with their 4 hooves on the ground.
But then again looking at your gallery you are certainly the creative type taking alot of basic ideas from MLP and granting them even more of a fleshed or rather cuter approach like some of your own filly custom models. And with that I have to say mad respects to anyone to be able to sculpt out and create something one as kind as this.
Actually it just blows my mind how people can be this good when they put clay down and manage to make everything as close as possible to the original. Not just for the fact of having to craft something with the theme of pony in the anatomy but Zecora herself for having so many extras to her that make her zebra-sense stand out much more then the rest. Personal hats off to your dedication with her and more then anything the damn stripes and the mohawk she's always featuring. To get each of the curves and random twists of the stripes down not just on one side but the whole 3D scale and keep it all looking smooth too, that's nuts.
Really like most of the work on the face and how perfectly matched it is to the original. Such very fine work went into honing down her eyes to match up on each side, the rings and ears to flow just as clean as her mohawk and even the snout at the tip of her nose, it certainly doesn't seem like easy work.
However you match up everything here to a damn tee and from the tail, the hooves to even the staff itself, its all just perfect. Very impressive work might add is the staff showing its rough and woody nature and clever idea on the way you present the light at the tip of it in a rather mystical kind of sense like you see in most fantasy genre.
Overall this is just flawless and besides hoping that you make your sale with this brilliant piece of Zecora, I do hope you pat yourself on the back for providing great time, quality and effort to what you created here and the rest of your gallery. Hell, I think the damn Hasbro company could pick up a few notes from you and how to make good fan memorabilia CadmiumCrab , nuff said! ^o^

Well this comment can by no means compare to the quality of your work nor the commitment and time you put into it cadmium. Wish more then in a few ways I could pick up something as unique as this but by no means need to thank this deviant for any the feedback for everything you did on the sculpture here. Your work speaks for itself and I always love supporting anything Zecora I can find on the DA, lol.
