Here I am once again with drawings based on songs -.-That's what happens when I manage to have some free time ><
SasuSaku is canon now, so, my new sad pairing is Makorra... so you can expect more of these, since everything in my life has Β gotten pretty messed up these days, and this is one of the few things that help me to calm down ^^'
But anyway, I can't wait to be able to update stuff in here more often! Thanks for your patience ^^'

Yeah, me too.. There too developed through the series something really strong and deep, and I don't belive that love is lacking in it. The thing is that the writers just didn't give value to the beautiful bond that actually happened..
But yeah, I'll try to do as much as I can for this pairing =]

Yeah, I agree with you. The finale could have been done better, it just didn't feel right to so many fans. *sigh* But anyway, it's just a dull pain with me right now. While I admired the show in the beginning, as well as the original Avatar show, I couldn't care less about the creators Mike and Bryan. They know they lost a lot of fans despite the "Korrasami" gloating and screaming. The flames of the fandom is slowly going out and I hear that it's backfiring on them now. People are slowly opening their eyes to the real intention of why the creators did what they did, and they're getting sick of Korrasami fanart and boasting. But I'm very happy to know that there's even been a slight increase of Makorra support across the web, as I'm seeing more fan art of them. It's very heartwarming to see how much support they are still getting and their fandom is still so huge. Again, keep it up.

Yeah, lately I've seen the Makorra fandom sort of starting to gather together and support each other, but about fanart I haven't seen much from it, mainly because of the hate some of my favorite artists were getting from the Korrasami fans..
But yeah, I'll try to keep makorra alive, even if it's just for me ><
But I'm glad that you and many other people are being supportive at this moment towards my drawings ^^'

You know, I agree with you. Many Makorra fans have been scared away because of the gloating Korrasami fans. I've heard telling stories of how others are told to "like Korrasami or die!" and such. It's horrible and I do blame Mike and Bryan, not the show or characters themselves. The fans are afraid to support Mako and Korra because they'll be called "homophobes". Since when does supporting a straight couple mean you are a homophobe?

Yeah, there's a lot of wrong stuff going on in the fandom, but I guess we'll just have to.. deal with it? The problem is when things start getting aggressive. There were a lot of blogs deleted because of the unnecessary excess of hate.. It's sad to see how bad things can get even after the show is over -.-'

Oh wow, really? I didn't know that. I just heard that on Tumblr, some "Korrasami" pics have been deleted and banned because it was over-sexualized and even bordered on some graphic scenes and inappropriate bondage. That's what I was afraid...over zealous fans wanting attention would just take this and twist it into something it wasn't meant to be. How sad.

Yeah, I happened to glance at that statement at a Makorra Tumblr a while ago. I don't know if it is really true or not, but it's very sad if it is. It just kills me that this situation has turned so many fans against each other, caused people to be "followers" or else their homophobes, and caused many to even leave the fandom. It wasn't truly the "Korrasami" situation itself, but what it did to fans.

The damage Korrasami caused to all of us is huuuge! And I if Makorra were endgame, I'm sure that the korrasami fans wouldn't be as upset as we were... But yeah, there are Korra comics comming, so I don't really have much hope for the story to get better..
At least that's how I'm dealing with this situation for now..

I feel bad for the series overall, because it really had potencial to be something big, something to make the difference! The plot, the characters and everything, it was all really good, but unfortunately they didn't know how to use it wisely.. But yeah, I think what I can do is to keep the good stuff and try to forget the bad things, though they are bigger than what was good..

Yeah, I do agree with you on all that. But you know, like I said to many other people, I've decided to just let this whole thing go. Just let go of Mike and Bryan, let go of the whole Legend of Korra situation. If I do remember it, I'll just remember what the show started out as......a fun adventure about a young girl discovering herself, her destiny, and learning to rely on her family and friends to tough situations. I'll always admire Book I and part of Book II for that. Book III and IV I don't even consider to exist. I will admire for the strong character she became after Book I, and how she dealt with her growing feelings for Mako and his for her. That's what I loved about it. Now...I let it go, and I move on to other wonderful shows, other wonderful characters.

Yes, exactly. From the vibe I'm getting and what I'm seeing, many people are choosing to let go of the Avatar universe...mostly Legend Of Korra. The only people holding on are the hard-core "Korrasami" fans and those who think Mike and Bryan are Tumblr gods, to quote an acquaintance of mine here on DA.
