I don't know if it's just me currently in the PokΓ©mon exhaustion or whatnot, but I'm not too big a fan of these starters. Despite my love of mermaids and whatnot I don't really like the whole...clown idea. That's just me though. I see why they went with it, but it's just not for me I guess.
On a risky different note, I'm debating perhaps drawing Searose and Aestus in the same picture, if I can get the drawing spirits back. It's slowly but surely returning.

Once Popplio got to the 'mermaid' stage being Primarina, I myself almost forget that she is still somewhat a clown, really.
I still cannot believe that the makers have gotten away with not putting the term 'mermaid' in the Pokemons' subtitles, actually. I still don't see Vaporeon having a good connection with a 'bubble-jet'.Β Β

It's the nose and beak. It puts me off. But I could kinda go on to criticize how I feel a lot of the Pokemon designs lately have not been too...unique? A lot feel bland to me. Again, I'm in PokΓ©mon exhaustion right now so, I'm probably sounding more cynical than I'm trying to be. Oh well...
