At this point I definitely got the program hammered down, and was able to do soft-shading and highlights much like I used to do in MyPaint,... very natural-looking with better hair stranding effects. Note that she is still technically a speedpaint since my goal was to finsih her soon rather than finish her perfectly (cause in the end, how much of her do you REALLY see in the comic... [link] ?), so don't let the occasional imperfection scare you. Autodesk Sketchbook Pro is a great program and the Galaxy Note 10.1 is an amazing artist tool, and you shouldn't be afraid to try them out if you can. THIS is the future of digital drawing!
