I really don't understand what possessed Mike and Bryan to make Kataang canon. I mean, I don't want to hate it... but that pairing just gives me the heebie-jeebies. And just to put the nail in the coffin, they have a kid together?? *shudder*
But I love Kataang compared to Maiko. Oh my god, I hate that pairing so much. Everyone I talk to has NO IDEA when or how they even happened. They just started making out randomly one day? wtf man.
I am SO PUMPED for The Legend of Korra though.

This is amazing, it's actually my favourite zutara fanart I've seen over the years which is really saying something. The copic colouring is incredible, you must do a lot of it cause it's totally flawless, really even and no mistakes anywhere

Lovely piece, I'm nowhere near that good with my copics..my only advice is to watch the skin tones, as Katara's skin and hair look a little light.

Wow! Zuko looks really handsome! The coloring is lovely, too. And I like the blue spirit mask a lot too, just wish that there were some reference to Katara's painted lady to match!

me too im pumped for the show Iave the se feelings about maiko as you hate it with every fiber of my being. mai treats zuko like crap she doesnt care for him at all. she only cares for her self i hate mai. i hate kataang to it makes no since to me. is all one sied cute bubbly puppy crush on aangs sode and for katara is all motherly and mother like love. any ways

I honestly think Maiko was just set up by Azula so that Zuzu would have a harder time leaving the capital... and it gave her better ways to control them both. That obviously backfired (in a few ways) but that is what I believe.
