My New Baby - Shai(the second new kitty at my apartment - but this one is mine)
She was given to me on July 12th, 2008 as an early anniversary present from my boyfriend.
We wanted to name her after an Egyptian goddess - so we decided on Shai - the Egyptian goddess of fate. (more info here : [link] )
We pronounce it "shy" since she is shy as well. And interesting enough, I found out 2 days later that Shai in Hebrew means "gift/present."

she wasn't at first - ivy just wanted to play, but shai didn't want anything to do with her - during the last two days they bonded all day while we were all at school and they're getting along very well now... i'm just waiting for the day they start cuddling together and sleeping.
