I'm not actually a huge Metroid fan so I can't comment on this much, but I really like it. The compromises between bipedal primate basic structure and birdlike anatomy are amazing and well-chosen. I especially like the hands and the shoulders. They create a really alien effect. I'm not sure how much of the fashion is from the source material, but that too is pretty neat; it suggests "Native American Pastiche In Space," which is historically (if not politically) appropriate to the series from my understanding. And the shading is nice and subtle. Well-done!

Its unfortunate that Im just never around DA!
It took me a half a year to realize this was out and about because of me?
..And what a pic!
The only other piece in your gallery, and it is as unique and inspiring as your other one.
I wasnt impressed at all by the prime chozo designs. Its the torizos I adore, only available on the super nintendo Im grateful for your choice to do something a bit more original. All the more power to you. shouldnt've been surprised though.

The garb on this guy is definately sci-fi.ish, but more beleivable than some stuff you find out there. its reserved, yet flashy. and very natural, if not aboriginal feeling.
