...through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil.This is the first time ive used myself as a "model" (thats a joke on its own
)I dont really like using myself as the subject, but to a certain degree i guess it ads some depth to the piece...Ive been walking through that valley lately.

Nice work... the ground appears strange. Not sure if it's snow sand or whatever but I like the effect. The tombstones tilted in various directions, the clouds and red sky all come together to make quite a nice composition.
I with you on using my own image ... I've only done it once. I prefer to be on the other end of the camera as well.

thnx, yeah the ground is actually beach sand. . . and the weird black things are actually dried out pieces of seaweed.
Dont think il use myself for a piece again soon, just doesnt feel right.

hi. thank u very much. The background is a combo of old pics that I took a while ago...the majority of it is actually a beach. And I added in the sky from another shot.
P.S. everyone keeps telling me i look like Jesus...that was never reaally my intention... but I guess i could ask the question: How do we know what Jesus looks like?

Wow, thats all I can really say. I mean, I am hear listening to my DC Talk CD and What if I Stumble is playing. It adds such an atmosphere to the piece. The only thing I can really say is that you don't really seem to fit into your backdrop. I don't know if you meant to have it that way, seeing that we do not belong in the valley of shaddow, yet it would add a 'creepier' sense to it if you made yourself blend in slightly. Over all, congrads, I am definatly watching you

well thank u very much. thank u 4 the watch, I reaally apreciate it. This piece i did really quickly, and I actually dont know why I already loaded it up, cause I still wanted to work on it. Ive been playing round with the lighting on the model, to make it seem more realistic, hopefully il b able to reload the final version of this piece soon.

interesante piece - awesum dat jy nou goed design as kuns - dis baie therapeutic, laat mens baie dink oor die spesifieke concept - ekt baie keer gevind dat ek massively geworstel het met 'n spesifieke kuns stuk omdat die consep so baie beteken het vir myself. Die Jesus gesig wat ek gedoen het byvoorbeeld en ook die catholics ding - want mens kyk heeltyd vas in die "probleem" vas... maak dit sin... hehe!
Hulle is reg - lyk soos Jesus!!
