"Megatron is no more! I now lead the Decepticons!" -- Starscream
This is off Transformers Episode #14 - Countdown To Extinction.
Starscream and Dr. Arkeville team up together to destroy earth. Mostly Starscream's idea making Earth explode and collect energy from Cybertron. There was a very cool shot of Starscream holding Decepticon insignia and showing off in front of Shockwave saying he leads now. I loved that shot and want to do my own version along with Dr. Arkeville. Dr. Arkeville reminds of Dr. Emmett Brown (Christopher Lloyd) from Back To The Future. The crazy messy white hair scientist. High school teacher any one?
Pencil on A2 paper. Took a while to scan bits and pieces then put them in photoshop like a jigsaw puzzle.

That and the episodes "The Ultimate Doom" are most definately in my top episode list. wathed it the other day for the hundredth time. This is amazing and you have got Starscream's face perfect there is no phrase to match the pride that stands on his face.
I agree, Dr. Arkiville does look like Chrystopher Llyod-gotta love that guy!

given the wonderful clear perspective on this character, his resemblance to the original toy and yet also cartoon...makes me wanna colour it. It looks fun.

Oh most definately. Shame he wasn't used more often. Think about it; he could have been the the Decepticons human sidekick! Autobots get a couple of talented blue-collar workers, and the Decepticons would get a creepy cybernetic scientist!

lets say that i generally am not thrilled about starscream and his clones but i like most other transformers
especially the tf uk comics the G2 comics beast wars and beast machines

G2 was a nice comic idea, I got the entire series. But the ending where Prime has to die everytime.... lol.. can we change that trend please, ha!

I loved Derek's art and his style. Too bad he was on it only for a limited amount of time. It tells what type of situation Marvel is in. Not able to pay better artist to draw transformers.

actually the real reason was because derek was too slow
he just took too long to produce the art so he was relegated to the shorter bits while galan got the longer sections because he was faster

quality is nice but if it takes ages and a book needs to be deliverd in time its got to be speed
speed and quality would be best off course but not always obtainable

It's hard to find a good artist that can do that consistantly. Especially drawing straight line robots.
I did have quality any time.

galan is actually a decent artist as long as he has to draw organics take alook at his sonic work for archie comics
