nice colour scheme and textures

thank you hun - the textures were created with the flicking effect of a paintbrush against a hard surface - dilute the paint down so it watery and has a bit of transparency.

I was going to do this piece in full color but changed my mind when i started putting it together. My friend Alexis loves purples and magentas so i went with a color scheme to best suit her.

Yeah it doesn't need any more colour, it's great like that.

i love painting landscapes more than anything - i live in the city now - all the houses look the same and what not - no variety, no change. i guess i try to escape the dullness of my day by engulfing myself into a painting.

It is hard going from country to city. I miss my mountains but the street I live in was build in the 1800s so the house are all different and interesting. I may some time paint them. They are all such fun colors. :3

i envy you much - i live near campus where its all student housing and such - there are nicer houses but i have to go way downtown
if you end up painting i would love to see them sometime

thank you very much hun - its just a pity to know the real tree and fence are now buried under about 5 feet of snow for no one to see
