Anime Con Boston 2008Roxas and Axel
I took my kids to Anime Boston on Saturday, March 22. The lines and crowds were INSANE. We waited over THREE hours just to register. Fortunately, there were plenty of characters, both official and unofficial, to keep everyone entertained.
This move by the Cosplay actors caused quite a stir! Some fans loved it, while others were repulsed!

Wow. It's me. XD And Roxas. Thanks for posting this picture. There seems to be a lot of them popping up. We weren't doing that the whole con, just for the fangirls who saw us walking holding hands and grabbed us for pictures.

Well, to be honest, I don't really know all the characters. But I am at least familiar with the terms/genres/themes. As a parent, I'm fairly easy going, but I feel I ought to know what's what.

My parents would flip if they knew half the stuff I've seen from anime XD Mostly shonen ai, since they aren't used ot me knowing what being homosexal means. (Sad since I'm sixteen on friday)

I LOVE THAT COSTUME!!! I wish my mom is into Anime....she wasn't exactly thrilled when I said I would be cosplaying a guy....

I wouldn't say I'm "into" anime, but I know what it's like to enjoy something as a teen that most adults don't care about. I was a rebel teen with an understanding mom, and I hope I can be the same. I do find some of the art and storylines quite interesting. And, of course, there are plenty of "rebel" topics!

Yeah, we are pretty reble, with our gothica lolita, and bondage anime. But still there are some not so reble but still awsome animes (ie Kingdom Hearts *sigh*).

they did that IN the con too. I was near them and suddenly I heard all these girls squeel. I turned around to see them kissing just a couple feet behind me

Friday was cool. I got a Deidara plushie XD I was walking around with it. A group of girls stopped me because they needed a pic of a Konan with a DeiDei plushie.
