You certainly seem to be anyway. I saw someone had posted PS tutorials and it looks very complex, but I s'pose I thought that with other stuff, but grasped it.

Do you buy the PS Software in the shops, or online?

I thought so. Someone offered to send me it for free, version cs3 I think it was??? It must be like with other software, whereby up to three people can register it or something? I have no idea????

It is what I can do with it once got it, is the thing, if I get it.

Not sure how it works to be honest but the licensing will be something along those lines.
If you can get a copy you'll have loadsa fun with it. till your head explodes of course. lol

Ah right, so you think it OK for me to accept it then?

Are the tutorials lengthy and complicated?

I guess it depends what you are looking to do and how much time you have to learn....
but the short answer is.... initially: yes.

Things like cropping, frames, borders, various effects too and layering from one photo to another, I hear that can be done?

Along those lines really oh and I would like to do stamps too, I think PS can do that too to use on DA?

So if it covers those things, on that version that's been offered to me, I may well be wise to accept the offer then?

I'm OK about tutorials, but time-wise, may mean I will slowly get there with it rather than sooner, but that's OK I think.

I think most versions of photoshop do pretty much the same thing, you said CS3? that's a fab version. I have CS5 and don't use 90% of it. lol
Layering I've tried, and it's abit like driving, seems really daunting at first till you do it. If you can get a copy of PS from your friend then there are literally hundreds/thousands of tutorials online for photoshop. plus groups here on DA.
Good luck

Yes, that's right CS3, so that's good to hear you say that it's a good version.

OK, many thanks for that. My internet Data doesn't last that long each top up, so I won't be able to view the tutorials much, but I hope I can still manage and as you say, I could check things on here too.

I have messaged that particular friend to make sure he doesn't mind, but I really would like to have it, to do more, but without ruining the images I have at the same time.

I'll need to take just one step at a time with the PS I presume then?
