Hey man, just wanted to say that I absolutely adore your urban photography, it has so much cyberpunk feeling in it! I also like the way you retouching your work, photos looks very balanced and pleasant for the eye, there is no overproduction andΒ the excessive use of filters (problem of many photographers), and you also have a great feeling for composition and the shot in general. Thank you thank you thank you a million times! I love Tokyo and its cyberpunk atmosphere and I too feel that so much work out there is over-saturated, over-filtered, and unnecessarily so. Tokyo is already so cyberpunk just to the naked eye, that heavy post-work simply takes away from it rather than add to it. I'm glad to hear your appreciation for a more balanced and subtle editing style.

You deserve it! Yes, Tokyo looks absolutely amazing, and I actually was so inspired by photos from there (your photos also had an impact obviously), so I applied for visa and I decided to visit Japan and some of its cities for the first time in my life! Can't wait to get there and experience Japanese culture at first hand!
And keep shooting (with camera of course) stuff, it is always great to see new photos in your gallery

Yes, I just got my visa and I'm going to Japan in a couple of days! Can't wait to get there, unpack my 1 megapixel camera and try to make some good photos with it ahah

It take decent gear, tripod, small aperture, low ISO, careful shooting and focus, and the right amount of editing. And lots of practice!

I'm new to travelling around with some of the equipment, so fumbling around with it took some getting used to. Sometimes this would mean ditching the tripod just for convenience sake but yeah, it's definitely shooting yourself in the foot when it comes to night shots :/


Will definitely be practising more for next time!

Oh yeah totally! I don't often carry a tripod. I only bring it with a very specific in tent to use it for shots like this one.
