you know i love doing these things. but when i get to spend a FCKING DAY with my OC, MAHNE, That's just AMAZING. I know Akane isn't technically an OC, since OC stands for "Original character". I made her up myself, but I didn't make up all of those cool jutsus and stuff she can do. So she's more of a fan character... but I still love her. She's more interesting than my other OCs *which isn't many*

please no bashing of my character. and do not label her as a Mary Sue just because she says "Hey, he's mine!" *when referring to Sasuke* I might have explained this already but Akane is not your ordinary "Hey look at my Naruto OC that TOTALLY looks, liek, ORIGINAL LOL" and shows you a screencap FROM THE ANIME that's been horribly drawn over in MS Paint kind of OC. I actually made my Naruto OC. From scratch. Not only that, but I took the time to make sure my character was original. If you remember at the beginning, her outfit was definitely original. You can't look at it and say "Oh, that's just like such and such's outfit, a complete spin-off". No. However my friend Rei (the one who came up with the idea of making naruto characters) thought the outfit looked nothing like something ninjas would wear. I was really disappointed and sad because the design was really cute and something I could call my own. I have a hard time making something original from something that already exists. But...anyway...since I'm ranting, I might as well stay on topic... I did eventually change it when I came up with a new design. But it was the exact opposite of the previous. A complete down-size. The outfit before had tons of layering (which looks kind of bad, i was addicted to fruits style...) and the only skin you could see was her face. And her fingers. Not even all of them because she wears those gloves with the holes in 'em. The new one has practically no layering, except shorts underneath the skirt. And I was kind of surprised that I let so much skin show. Akane is shy and a lot like me. I wouldn't wear that outfit because I'm very insecure about the way I look and how other people see me. *stupid, I know...* GAWD I should at least stay on topic!

What was I talking about before I went ranting on about the outfit? Oh yeah. I was going to say that the new one, although I hate to admit it, doesn't look very original. So simple that you really could take a screencap of the anime, let's say Shippuden Sakura and draw Akane's outfit over hers in some program... But I see no reason as to why I would have to do that. Even if you can't draw that well, you should still attempt to, if anything. And hey, if you can't do that, at least describe what your character looks like.

And about the Mary Sue thing... Honestly, if you called Akane a Mary Sue she would likely threaten you, threaten to hurt you, hurt you, or do all of the above. And some. Although shy and quiet, when someone offends her, she'll let them know how she feels about it. Calmly, at first. She can be angered easily but she is very good at controlling her anger in a situation like this. (Which is odd, because her demon is activated only by pure rage which you can't control very well...) And don't think she's just another kid with problems and a complicated past. Complicated past? Hell yes. Problems? Oh hell yes. But there's many reasons why she's always depressed and sad. For one, her own brother killed her parents (well it wasn't him it was his demon, but he was watching as the demon brutally slaughter his mother and father. Yeah. Not your ordinary inner demon either.) I even plan to have Akane dream about it happening, her actually watching him kill their parents. Ugh this description is probably too long... but I don't feel like stopping. And making a journal would only waste time because no one would read it, no one would really care, and although i would feel good after it, it wouldn't change anything. This rant is not to yell at people and hope they'll learn something from it. My original intent was yes, to let people know something about my Naruto OC. Whether that information reached someone was not. I'm venting my feelings too.

I think I might just make a rant journal. Your eyes must hurt and I think I got my point across.... ugh... i just want to say one more thing about Akane. I didn't make just so that I could put her with Sasuke. Actually, I had planned on making her not like Sasuke at all. When I'm writing about something Sasuke is doing or whatever, I can't help but feel fangirly, and especially if I'm writing about a conversation they're having. It just happens. And to be honest, if Sasuke had to choose someone to talk to in the whole room of people, it would be Akane. She knows the pain he's experienced because she experienced it herself. She knows what it's like to have those feelings for certain people and to have them effortlessly taken away from you.

Ugh... okay, I might have killed someone by now. I should stop.
