just finished End of Time, cried buckets of tears, and managed to laugh through them at the introduction of the Eleventh Doctor. it's bittersweet, because i know i'll love Tennant the most as the Doctor, but i'm still so excited for Smith.

I had it easier because we couldn't track down "End Of time" until afterΒ watching all of Smith's seasons. So I never experienced that painful goodbye to 10 before starting in with 11. I think if I'd had to cry over Tennant leaving just before Matt Smith came in, it would have made it much harder for me to like him. That's kinda how it was going from Eccleston to Tennant for me; it took a long time to adjust to Ten because I was mad about him replacing Nine!

I exactly believe you with a end of Time you or we all saw all of the companions of the Tenth Doctor have, He have should feel sad to regeneration but he should have feel that they will be always in his two lovely hearts, he should be happy to have friends with him traveling through space and time itself.

Y'know, and I haven't watched the Tennant episodes in a while so I could be off, but I like how the way they walk away is a bit like how they left the Doctor. Rose didn't want to, so she's turned around slightly as if reluctant to go away. Martha walks away confidently, like she chose to. And Donna looks like she is deep in thought, tryna remember perhaps. Idk, this is what I saw when I saw this lol

I'll miss all of them even though I was always bitter to any new companions after we lost Rose<333 I'll always miss her~ I don't think it really sunk in that companions change and leave and die until Rose left and then it was like 'Wow its gonna change over time and after so little time none of the original actresses and actors are there anymore'
When Ten left Rose behind the second time I cried more then I had the first time because by then I had become such a freaking die hard shipper then any idea of her goin off with the other version both made me giddy with excitement and killed me///

I love this. I may be reading into this way too much, but the fact that Donna and the Doctor literally touch could be a representation of the DoctorDonna. Which is very cool. The shading on Martha's jacket is amazing -- looks like real leather. Martha's expression is also beautiful -- like someone else noted, she is looking up, which is great because she chose to leave the TARDIS. However, there is a solemnity to her face as well that signifies the bittersweet nature of her choice.

I know how you feel!!! David Tennant was my favorite Doctor as well even though I got turned onto the series the year he left. The first episode I saw was Matt Smith's first full outing as the iconic Time Lord but after watching the other episodes on Netflix Tennant quickly became my favorite. And Doctor Who quickly became my favorite show. Smith was great in the role and brought some good humor and quirkiness to it and I know I'll miss him but I'm looking forward to Peter Capaldi's 'darker' Doctor. But over all Tennant is the best Doctor since Tom Baker and for me, Tennant will always be my Doctor. Keep on drawing and we'll keep on being tremendously impressed.

I think that's what made me like Martha so much when she was on the show. Β I like the three of them pretty much the same amount, but for different reasons. Β With Martha, I liked how she was always so secure in herself and in her own destiny, and how she had this kind of unique inner strength. Β That kind of made her departure a lot less sad; sure, it would've been awesome if she'd traveled with him longer, but she knew she had her own adventures to make.
