Honestly, Ginny kind of always felt like a background character to me. Like peeps keep on saying how the movies did her injustice but to me, Ginny in the movies was pretty much the same thing as Ginny in the books. For me. That's why I like Hermione so much better because she was so much more mature and she was bloody brilliant, even though she never played Quidditch.

Poor Ginny. No wonder she and Harry were BOTH scared in "Cursed Child" when Albus was following after Riddle's child. It's because of the diary that both of them know what it's like to be possessed by him and know how he thinks.
