Cool pocket! Are the buttons on the plaid functional or decorative? And is the underskirt attached or separate? Sorry for my nosiness; I like to know how things are constructed!

Buttons are only decorative as the black lace in the middle is elastic. Zip at the top is functional, though, giving a choice of v-neck or a tight fit at the neck.
Underskirt is sewn to the dress. Actually this garment was a total improvisation with more or less clear vision of it at the beginning.
