I really wanted to do one of these a year, you know? So I could look back and see how I've changed in my looks and how my drawing has improved all at once. But, alas, I somehow never found the time FOR AN ENTIRE YEAR. Actually no, SEVERAL YEARS. Looking back I did one in 2009 and two in 2010 (all in pencil) and then once I got this awesome idea I just stopped finishing them. But at least I finally got this done.

I also want to really improve on my cartoony-semi-realistic paintings, like this. I really enjoy looking at them and all I seem to do are big close up portraits referenced from a photo. I want to do more original stuff, like my Tangled drawing. [link] Speaking of which, I'm getting the Art of Tangled, the Art of Wreck it Ralph and the Art of Puss in Boots for my eighteenth birthday next week. So excited.
