Tried something a little different today. XP In my drawing class, we're learning how to draw with pastels, and I LOVE IT. So I decide to combine what I know about pastels and what I know about digital art, an old sketch lying around in my computer files, and here's the result. XP I also got some help from Lackadaisy's painting tutorial lol.I want to talk more about this, but I gotta go to class now. XD
EDIT: Added Lani's light chest fur and the leaf motifs on her shirt. Also lessened the intensity of the blue backlight.
EDIT2: Cleaned up the highlights. XD

Wow, this looks great and the difference in this style was very noticeable when I saw it in my Neopian group updates. I just had to take a look at it in full view.
This also fills me with a sense of nostalgia, remembering my years in studio art back in highschool.

Your art looks brilliant in this style, Buizel! ^____^ You really do have a talent for that pastel-style shading, and this picture is not only beautiful to look at but inspiring as heck. I love the blue highlights, and the delicate shading around her eyes.
