This style of art is far out of my skill set, but I'll do my best:
The mane looks fantastic. It looks realistic and "alive", and frames the face perfectly.
The colors are beautiful. The small hints of red really make the gold stand out. It feels very warm, and if you'll forgive the overused phrase, majestic.
Perhaps the face is a bit too simple for the style. The eyes look a bit plain compared to the mane and subtle shading and colors.
Overall I love it. It's simple and lovely.
