AWWWWRIGHTY THEN!It's done! Well, as done as it's gonna be. The background I wasn't so sure what to do with after the line of grass, but I figured a nice, misty forest would fit alright.
Yeah. My rocks need work, but overall, I'm REALLY happy with how this came out.

Anyhoos, a brief explanation of WHO Coya is...
She's my ORIGINAL character from my ORIGINAL work "The Sidhe".
The thing about "The Sidhe" is that it sorta switches the POV. Meaning, it starts off with Coya being the main character.
She is the illegitimate daughter of the UnSeelie court King. Her mother, a mountain nymph named Amara was raped by the Dark Faerie King (long story...>.< ) however, after she discovered she had become pregnant, she hid her daughter among humans in order to keep her existence secret from The Dark Horde.
Coya (which is Incan for "queen") grew up in the Incan Empire. However, upon the conquest of the Incans by the Conquistadors, she was rescued by her REAL mother and brought back to the land of Tir Nan Og.
The thing about Coya is that while she IS GOOD, her faerie powers are not. She possesses UnSeelie abilities. Therefore, drama ensues as she is kept among the Seelie Court.

And it's all airbrushed? That makes it even more amazing, I've always wanted to learn how to airbrush, is it hard? I love Coya's outfit and if you don't mind me asking that star on her forehead... is that like a birth mark or something?

thieves and all...you understand. I mean, it's not that I think my stuff is just THAT GOOD...but I simply think some folks are just that bogus.
I've been thinking about doing a "brief synopsis" of "The Sidhe" and if people are interested, I may post more stuff about it...

And as for posting original stuff here on DA... Yes, there are art thieves out there, but they're more likely to steal fanart or from an UBER popular deviant (we're talking about 100,000 pageviews a week or something like that), so I say you should go for it! Sure, you won't get as many comments or favorites as you would should you post nothing but fanart, but it's still worth it... I personally find it more enjoyable to recieve a comment and a favorite on one of my original works than one one of my increasingly rare fanart pics... And if you feel that your comics or stories need a little more attention (I know mine sure will!), you can always go to the Forum and then the thumbsshare section, and post what you feel needs more attention. Sure, there gonna be a few little turds here and there, but it's well worth the risk. It's what I'm gonna do once I get off my butt and finish the intro to my comic.
Long passionate rant short, I say go for it~! What've you got to lose?

Not that it looks ugly or anything... eveyrthing's well done, well colored, well drawn... so what's wrong ? 
I expected the very background to be darker than where she was "standing" (lying ?) so it's surely that that is bothering me...
and why did you make the water all transparent, no little clear blue ? Because I think water is really hard to draw, color, to give it all its natural beauty and here, it's just awesome : we have the impression of it running like in any creek... but well i'd have liked it a bit blue 
for the light, it seems that you placed the "neutral" shading on the trees and rocks... but not place any directionnal shading from a light source...

Like I said, for the BG, I honestly didn't know what to do with it after that line of grass? After I posted it I thought that I should have probably used another stock photo for reference. I STILL want to tweak the image though...maybe I'll add some more blue to the water (I was emulating the photo in it's coloring
So yeah! I'll definately try to play with the image a bit and re-upload it later!

i think the trees after the grass look good, it's just the way you choosed to color them, the atmosphere you gave them that don't look "appropriate"... ^^

I'm glad you like that book! I LOVE it! What I like is how it talks about how to buy a dress, ya know? Like, try on really expensive ones to get a feel for the quality so you can make a better decision about more affordable dresses!

Anyhoos, my budget is that I have no budget! LOL! Okay, seriously. My mom has no money. My dad said he would help (but when I announced my engagement he was all, "Awww, well, I've hit some hard times..."). The only help we can count on is Chris's father who said that he would pay for the hall. Everything else...me and Chris. So yeah. The cheaper the better!

Dude, I'm beginning to wonder if I should ask for this nifty program over Photoshop CS 'cause I really like how the coloring comes out. The way you do it is so smooth and fluid. ^-^ She looks absolutely beautiful and I -love- her hair and dress.
