Well
At first it was just picture of they two standing next to each other.
I choose lighting from the left side because then a shadow is covering Knuckles' face as a symbol of his sad mood. The same, Locke is standing in direction of the lighting so his face is covered with light, as a symbol he is Knuckles' light in shadows.
But then I was wondering if I should incorporate that Locke is here from chaos energy. So I choose the same colours as in the previous picture that the Chaos is on the right side and the calm blue colour is on the left.
But ater then I realized if there is a glow from Chaos from the right, the shading should be on the other side.
So I am thinking of symbolizing Chaos differently here.

Actualy not just me. I can't do programming. So when I found a person who can do this, I started two games with him. One with Knuckles, one with Sonic.
He is programming it, I do grafic part. Environment/world map, character design, animation... then I am making music and the story.
But it is very slooow proces... :/
I can't really say when it is going to be finished. We started last year.

Because they are from different environment and of course with a different story and different main character.
Sonic have got an running/logic adventure RPG in city from another world in a steampunk style. In a part of story he meets Tails and Knuckles and Eggman.
But Knuckles' game is something more spiritual, it is an RPG adventure too but it is focused on different story genre. Knuckles probably won't meet Sonic and his friends. And it is a background and story which is not matching with other Knuckles' stories including the Archie. In the Knuckles' game is more or less my vision of his life, Chaos energy and Knuckles' ancestors. (but of course we decided they'll look the same as they look in Archie)
So the styles won't suit together. They can't be as a one game.
And we still don't know which of these styles players would prefer more.

Ok, lets take some history
At first we had an idea about making some Sonic game we was thinking about something unusual. A lot of people is making/have made game with Sonic and most of them are very amazing. Then I thought I like Knuckles more and I have different vision of his life. So we decided to make Knuckles isometric RPG game. I made a main story and wrote ideas of the main game and functions. But then I had an idea about Sonic RPG game in steampunk style. Open world where Sonic could run free. And we started to work on this more. I made a storyboard with story from the very begining to very end. I made a lot of cutscenes. A lot of test music including main theme, intro, some stages...
...But my team have some problems so they didn't do/care much about the game now. So I am working on my own now, waiting for Sonic model from friend, drawing concept arts, making research, searching for informations, making music, thinking about more stuff about the games.
So it is up to my team and ideas and luck which game will be released first.
PS: And I think the most difficult think is going to be searching for voice actors...

I don't know it is not my character, Locke is from "oficial" Archie comics and he is Knuckes' father.
