AFL Tournament Epilogue:Small apologies to Chibi-Tediz on this page. I misunderstood when I was drawing this page the exact nature of Tomo's powers. I assumed he had the voodoo ability to transform into all sorts of odd monsters. But later after a closer look at his profile I realized he actually can only turn into his giant "Coonak" form. But by that point I was already too far finished to change it, so... meh, what can ya do?

Hehee, heelarious and clever as ever! Makes me really miss AFL and DU events! I wish I had more time to dedicate to them. Also reminds me, buried deep in a stack somewhere, I have tons of ancillary AFL character strips that only made it to pencil form from years back.

You can churn out a more reasonable amount of pages, and they're infinitely more witty than anything I could come up with!
I wouldn't feel too bad about the Tomo goof... I did a similar mistake with Tecno Angel a long time ago. Due to some confusion about her official height being listed as 2 cm yet she always appeared life-sized, the creator decided to incorporate the ability for her to change size. Chibi seems to be positive that she'll run with the animal-morphing as well.

Reminds me Popeye's spinach origin story.
Popeye eating spinach to make himself stronger is actually based off a typo that lead to a misunderstanding. When people were writing down the iron value in spinach, they accidently put a decimal in the wrong spot, causing people to believe spinach has more iron than it actually does. Due to this misunderstanding, the creator of Popeye worked spinach into his character and it has remained a central part of his mythos ever since.
Likewise, everyone who fought Techno Angel assumed she was tiny... even when the artist drew their character the same size as hers. I remember trying to ask her what she meant, but I fear the language barrier only caused more confusion than clarification.
