Description I love the Epic Mickey video game!

One of my favorite characters in it, is Animatronic Goofy.

In Epic Mickey, Oswald the Lucky Rabbit enlists the help of the Mad Doctor to create robotic buddies as apart of trying to live Mickey's life. But when the Mad Doctor betrayed him for the Shadow Blot, he had his Beetleworx machines tear Goofy and all the other animatronic buddies apart. Now all there parts are scattered all over the Wasteland, and its up to Mickey to find them.

True he may not be the real one that Mickey knows, but he still has thoughts and feelings just like Goofy. Here is my third sketch of A.G. with more accurate detail, drawn with a graphite sketch pencil and with more cleaning. I had to observe A.G.'s designs real close while comparing with old model sheets of real goofy.

Cool! Are you going to color it?

No, I don't think so. In fact I think this sketch looks a little too clean. I think I'm gonna redue it but show a little rough color erase pencil in it too.

Very cool! That brings me back, it was the first character I modeled for the game
I would suggest having some fun with your line work and not worrying about it being so clean.
Keep 'em coming.

The very first character you MODELED?? Does this mean you worked on the game yourself? If so,AWESOME!

Thanks Mr. Hamilton!

It's cool to know that A.G. was your first character to be modeled for the game. Were you doing it through drawings, building and rigging the Computer version or both?

I'm definitely having fun with not only Goofy, but with Donald and Daisy too. Trying to draw both machine detail and 2D character design in one is challenging, but fun. The reason Goofy looks so clean is that the one you saw was done on a seperate sheet over my "Animatronic Goofy with details" blue pencil sketch [link] . With a few tweaks and details of course. I love showing some rough sketch lines in some of my rough art. But I guess I've been missing that clean line look I use to do in Adobe Illustrator. Do you think I should draw a more rough blue pencil/graphite version of Goofy? And perhaps Donald and Daisy? Thanks again for the comment!
