Korra I can easily picture being in Griffindor, but I can only picture Asami in Ravenclaw.

Yeah, most people disagree with me on Asami, haha. I just like to put her in Hufflepuff because I think it was her moral conviction and loyalty to what she thought was right and her friends that were the driving force of her actions throughout the series. That's more significant than her high intelligence, for me. She could easily be either Puff or Claw, though, imo.

YES! Thank you for putting Asami in Hufflepuff! Yes, Asami at her core is brilliant as all get out, a quality that both Ravenclaw and Slytherin pride themselves on.
Hufflepuffs are about sacrifice for the (and I hate to say it) greater good, and they put the needs of others before themselves. As you said, it was Asami's willingness to support her friends no matter what, and to make the conscientious decision to join the Krew as opposed to her father that makes her a Hufflepuff in my headcanon.
