Well the thing is I have looked at some of your scraps and they look better than most peoples completed works so I couldn't help but wonder.

Nice, very nice, this is a great picture. The coloring is very good, and the lineart is extremely clean. The most interesting thing about this is probably the outfit. It's very detailed, and the design and coloring are both very well-done. Also, the sword's detail in both the blade in handle is excellent, and you've obviously got a good understanding. Only complaint with the sword is that the line of the blade appears a small bit uneven and sketchy- smooth and elegant, remember that, no "jaggies" at all, or it won't look real. The hair is another very good point, you're very good with the highlights and shadows, that's very good, plus the movement is well shown. The hands seem a bit off-ish, on the left hand there's too much space between some of the fingers (notable the pinky and ring fingers) and on the right the wrist seems too bumpy, like there's an extra joint. The fingers are good, though. Only very minor quibbles, though, this is a very good picture, and the coloring is wonderful! Very nice, keep it up, and watch what you do on the hands very carefully.

well you all seem to love the color of the hair an I didn't think that the hair went to well with the pic.....but from you comments it seems that the hair goes good with it. then again I made the BG blue so it works ^_^
