I think this is a new level for your work. The texture of the metal car and the details of the paper money (both in linework and the fibrous fringes along the edge) are extremely impressive. I enjoy that you are breaking Monopoly down further to groupings of the game pieces. This is constructing quite the strong series with different scales all working in collaboration.

Thank you David, great feedback. I am always trying to push further with this series and I think you are right that this represents a step up/ forward. I'm not necessarily looking to make these 'photoreal' but I do want to create an illusion of reality. The lines in the banknote were interesting to paint because at this close-up level the printing on a Monopoly note is actually quite crude and I wanted to portray that without giving the impression that I had just painted them badly! More to come.
