Yeah I guess so; my mother keeps rhetorically asking me if I know what people would do for my style of hair.
I like mine now that it's getting longer, because I'm getting less of the Bozo-Clown poof effect.
I have lots of wave, so my hair loves doing its own thing and doesn't give a crap in regard to laying down a bit. Its length (weight I guess) though is finally making the waves behave better.
