Lately I've been replaying Banjo-Tooie with a friend, and I must say it's a lot better than I remembered. The two N64 Banjo games play really well, are hilariously written and contain a whole bunch of awesome characters-- what more do you want?So yeah, here's my take on Banjo and Kazooie. I don't really like their redesign for 360's Nuts & Bolts, so I went for something more simplistic and happy, based on the original games in stead of the latest one. Let me know what you think.

Oh gosh I remember this game! One of my friends at school had a N64 while I had a Dreamcast (durr) so I'd intentionally come around his house to play Banjo Kazooie. I always remember being really impressed with the graphics and how fluid the controls felt. They don't make em like this anymore!

Normally don't like people drawing them in different styles from the game, but this one looks awesome.

It REALLY makes me sad when people have NEVER ever played Banjo-Tooie, one of the best platform games I've ever played 
First two games are just fantastic, as well as truly special to me for many reasons, I never played NAB and just not at all interested, and the new style looks slightly ugly :/ if only Rare and Nintendo worked together again, I remember being really heart broken when I heard they split up.

Actually, I'm afraid you'll need an Xbox 360 >_< Rare has been taken over by Microsoft, and they now apparently own the rights to using the Banjo characters.
You should still get a Wii though

Very nice! The N64 B-K games are easily the best games I've never played, and I still never get tired of them.
My only critique is that Banjo's shorts need to be much, much tighter.

Rare had some amazing games and characters, they were truly one of the best gaming companies of my youth...God I miss those days, those kind of games.

I loved Banjo-Kazooie, I haven't got the third one (as I don't have an XBox 360) although there was some subtle sexual jokes put in. There's a Youtube video about them.
Anyway I love how you drew them in your style, so colourful just like the nature of the games c:

Haha, those games have awesome dialog. Too bad the third one had to be translated to Dutch for some reason. I have no 360 either, but I did play the game once. Personally, I think the gameplay's too different for fans of the series, even though it's full of inside references and familiar characters.

Oh man awesome pic. I always loved this series, played it so much when I was little. It scared the living crap out of me, I more so remember the second one more than the first. That ocean level scared me so much as a kid from the second game. Great series though and great pic, I really like the style and it's good to see art fromn you again
