Description Another drawing I did while school. I'm beginning to think that I only have time to draw when I' m finished with a task and can do what I want p.p

Anyways, this is Johanna, or Jo for short, she's a shapeshifter and the main charakter of a story I'm writting right now. I tried to draw her more realistic but still with a little bit of my drawing-style and a simple shading because I didn't had that much time.

Oh sorry I thought you where a German friend of mine I had sated that I like the drawing and shading ^^
I sometimes copy my picture into a new layer and set that one into the overlay mode, the shading and lightning and colors in general gets more volume in my eyes ^^

Das finde ich ist dir super gelungen! Ich persΓΆnlich kopiere nochmal das ganze Bild und mach das dann layermode overlay dann sieht es "schΓ€rfer" aus ^^

Ahhhhhhh! So awesome I'm also writing a story with a shapeshifter His name is Nighticy (Night Te Ce) (the TE is short and CE is long sounded) His main shapeshift form is a wolf but he Β can also change into a cat or bird ^_^ Btw the eyes are beautiful :> You're inspiring me to draw and take time on the computer for drawings *_* when I have time... when I have time... bwhahaha <3 finals week /dies ... /comes back to life the next day

Jo can only change into a Jaguar, I would end up mixing everything up if she could change into more animals xD

I want to get really good at using the GIMP program I have, there's probably better ones out there but the one I have is a free version but then again my art style keeps changing, I haven't decided to pick and stay with one yet :< sometimes my style looks awesome then the next I don't like it and I change it and I do this over and over X_X I have a whole sketchbook of just practicing drawing cats haha

I hate Gimp like hell, I just can't work with that xD
You could try out Paint Tool Sai, for a drawing programm it is pretty cheap and still has everything you need
I think changing the style is what every artist does, everyone wants to get better and still wants a style everybody can remember that it is yours. If you change something over and over again it's completly normal and really good for improving. Trust me, I know what I'm talking about ^^' I change things all the time, but like this I can get better ^^

If I get Paint Tool Sai would I be able to move it on other computers or would I have to repurchase it? And yea for sure, whenever I try something I'll do that for a while before changing it to my new style and work on something else so it just keeps getting added up and up haha Β

I think you'll have to repurchase it but I'm not so sure about, 'cause to be honest: I bought it for my PC and downloaded a crack for my Laptop ^^'
Yeah, me too and this can take a few hours until I'm completly satisfied with what I did there ^^

I think i'll upgrade to a really good program when i get a new computer/laptop ^^ I usually like trying to finish my pc drawings quick b/c I want to see how they turn out right away >.< The drawing I just started today I hope it turns out well. I'm gonna try drawing my main character for my novel. Her name is Scarlet :3

Photoshop is pretty good when you know how to work with
Same here, but I always stop myself so I spend more time and can change something when it doesn't look that great and yeah... then I need too long.
A written novel or a graphic novel? ^^

heh I suck at drawing people, I have the motions down for cats though so i'm working on a cat graphic novel. Scarlet is from my series The Four Kingdoms: North and they're all going to be novels. I'm currently revising the first chapter of the North Kingdom since I haven't touched it since Jan 2012 o.o I'm thinking I'll draw scenes and post a link to the chapters since they're long ^^

I'm getting slowly better at drawing people. I always think that I draw too many wolves and cats so I practise it from time to time ^^

Yea I am waiting for the day where I have a thin piece of paper and pencil that makes the paper screen copy whatever you draw without looking at the pc screen... one day.... *decades later* why how nice, now my knuckles and wrist can't really move so I have a hard time drawing D: QQ XD

my teacher has a tablet that works like that but those are extremly expensive, I think they cost like 1500€ or more... I want to have such a tabet p.p

I'm actually slowly working on a graphic cat novel that is like maybe 5% based off of the warriors but has a completely new/different setting that it's almost not even based on warriors :3

No I don't unfortunately I wanna make it look really cool so first I gotta do the story plot/outline, then draw it, then draw it on the computer and color it XD If only pictures from my head could be magically placed on the screen

I hope the brain scientists and the art scientists are working together to create something like this! Even if you have to draw the image slowly like you're drawing it, it will probably be more accurate than trying to do what we're trying to do now XD Jeez, I kinda just wanna invent this if they're not working on it
