Biography:
Alexis was born in a middle-high class family who lived in the countryside, having a bigger sister and two small siblings, a boy and a girl. She grew up looking how hard her parents tried to fit into higher society and built a lot of false appearances and friendships to keep their role in it and started to dislike such things, preferring to spend her free time in the garden reading a good book under a tree looking at the clouds pass by than in one of those elegant, expensive and quite wasteful parties they so looked forward to.

Never an adventurous or outgoing child Alexis was the kind of perfect daughter a parent always picture in his/her mind, she never questioned their choices, disobeyed their orders or did tantrums, or at least not aloud, as she always made sure to keep her thoughts to herself, even if anyone ever asked her to do so, causing her problems to create affective bonds with others later on.

As she grew older her parents hired a private tutor to teach their kids in the arts, writing, sciences and math, but being various children to instruct, all different ages, they didn't learn much more than the basics of each discipline to Alex disgust, whose thirst for knowledge created the dream of her becoming a very famous researcher, making extraordinary discoveries in the name of science in a very sexist society.

With this ideal she saved some money and wrote a letter to her aunt who lived in the city, to stay with her for some time as she auditioned for a good school and chased her dream of becoming a researcher. At first her parents were doubtful of letting her go, fearing for her security and stability in the big city, full of crowds, lies and crazy dangerous people, so Alexis learned (with the help of her older sister) a couple spells to defend herself and gain their permission. Already there she got a part-time job as a librarian to help her aunt pay for the extra things needed for her, and started her studies as soon as possible.
