Personality: Wren has a gentle disposition. Very soft-spoken, he is personable and polite towards everyone upon meeting them, though he tends to ask too many questions, then bites his tongue when realizing he might have been offensive.
He shies away from conflict, but is incredibly loyal, should one befriend him, and he is unafraid to fight when necessary. He is undoubtably kind and a good listener, but his years as a vampire have made him slightly awkward in group situations, as he's kept to himself for the past decade. He is self-critical and constantly beats himself up over little things, and he has become a little obsessive about his appearance. For example, he spray tans so that his neighbors still think he’s human and notice less that he never goes outside during the day.

Background: Wren is very young for a vampire, and the transition was, and sometimes still is, very hard for him. He was very privileged in his human life until one night he pulled over to assist what looked like a terrible car accident. The driver of the car, a vampire, had posed it as a trap for good samaritans like himself, and she sprung upon him when he went to help. The vampire was old and dying, and she turned Wren so that she may live on somehow through his curse.

After it was over, Wren was too terrified and ashamed to go home, so he called his best friend for help. It was only shortly after arriving at his friend's house that the now volatile and starving Wren attacked his friend and later his family when they returned to the house, killing them all. When he returned to his senses, horrified, Wren fled, not stopping until he was far enough from civilization that he couldn't hurt anyone else.

Living off the animals in the area, he slowly learned how to control his appetite until he was able to integrate himself with humans again, but by the time he had the strength to return to his family, his parents had long since passed away. Letting guilt and depression eat at him over the years, he’s lived in his parents house, trying to appear as normal as possible until he heard about Arveetus Haven, where he hopes to learn more about his own kind.

Describe the valuable object you offer the headmaster:
The key to his house that his mother gave him. Its the only thing he has from her.

Why does you character want to seek help from the haven?
Wren wants to integrate himself with others of his kind and others, to learn from older vampires and help balance his skills so that he may not have to live boarded up in his house alone the rest of his life.
