Personality

Hemlockstar often seems arrogant. He lies to make himself look good and/or to cause trouble amongst the clans. Despite being the leader, Hemlockstar is also very childish. He is constantly seeking attention, especially from Talonstar, whom he has been in love with since apprenticehood. In fact, he spends most of his time thinking of her.

Description

Breed: Mixed Breed

Face: Hemlockstar has a handsome face. The tom's head is proportionate to the rest of his body yet his long fur makes it appear larger than it actually is. His face is primarily gray with a silver patch of fur over his right eye and two other patches of silver on the left side of his face. He has black ears and a dark reddish nose.

Body:Hemlockstar has long, gray fur with silver patches scattered across it.

Legs: He has long, well-built legs.

Tail: His tail is long and covered in thick, bristly, black fur.

Build:Hemlockstar is large a large tom with a muscular build, but not in a way that makes him look stocky.

HeightHe is tall, much larger than the average tom.

Fur: His dark fur is long, thick, and rough to the touch.

Scent: Hemlockstar smells mostly of pine with a trace of earth that comes from him living underground.

Voice: His voice is deep but still young sounding. He usually speaks like his father, with an air of authority and using long words. However, he will sometimes slip up and speak with the vocabulary of a cat no older than 7 moons.

Strengths

Hemlockstar is a fierce fighter. He has rarely been beaten in battle and is quite capable of killing though he has never taken a cat's life to date.

He is a quick thinker and has a gift for battle strategy.

The tom has exceptional night-vision.

Though he is large, Hemlockstar can be quite stealthy in the dark.

His strength is great and is the key to his prowess in battle.

After moons of abuse from his father, Hemlockstar has developed an inadequacy complex.

History

1-6 moons: Hemlockkit was born to the Nightclan leader, Ravenstar, and a she-cat named Rosethorn. Ravenstar didn't seem too broken up when his mate died after kitting but to this day, Hemlockstar thinks about her and what things would be different if she had lived.
6 - 12 moons: Ravenstar felt that no other cat could train his son better than himself, so when the time came, Hemlockpaw became his apprentice. Being the son and apprentice of the leader, Hemlockpaw was treated like royalty around camp, fueling his arrogance. However, it was not all good for him. Ravenstar was a merciless mentor. He trained his apprentice hard, to the point of causing physical and emotional damage.

During his first gathering, Hemlockpaw met a Highclan apprentice. The two became enemies almost instantly but Hemlockpaw liked her just a little bit too.
13 - 15 moons: Any chance Hemlockheart got, he would find an excuse to fight with Talonwing. Winding her up amused him to no end. There were lines he never crossed, however. He left Talonwing alone the moon she lost her father.

16 - 18 moons: Following Snakebite's death, Hemlockheart became the new deputy of Nightclan. He took the role very seriously.. Except when it came to Talonwing. Whenever he was near her, the tom acted no older than 5 moons.

18 moons +: Hemlockstar became leader after his father died in a battle with Highclan.

Hemlockstar's crush on Talonstar has turned into a full out obsession.
