hehe they look like a painting i did of a pair of Fallen shoes I had. : ) reminds me of the Gorillaz too.
They're awesome! I love painting my own shoes too. Its hard to paint on regular slip-ons though because they're not canvas shoes like vans.

all depends on the kind of shoes you want really. vans are a bit pricey, but they last. the knock offs are only about $10-$15, but they tend to fall apart. gotta figure out shipping too. i'm in texas.

just used soft body acrylics. the acrylic inks are a bit too thin. the liquitex rep told me after 3 days, they're sealed. my kids have been wearing their for about 4 months now without any fade.

These are awesome! I have seen some shoe paintings but these would look great on my wall! I think I now want to try this did you use acrylics? Did you coat it with anything?

yep acrylics. i haven't bothered with a finishing coat, but haven't had any problems.

thanks. wish i could say it was all my own idea, but i'd seen a few. i can at least say these were done without using any of them for reference. just an anatomy book for bone structure.
