Great work; with that planet/star present, it gives this a science-fiction feel.

hmm, hope you don't mind me saying, but that plane(?) in the sky attracts a bit too much attention imho (unwanted attention?)

btw. how'd you do the vignetting?

Its actually a star(or a planet not sure) not many planes flying over this area of lake superior.

The vignetting is a result of the low amount of light and the curves adjustments I made.

oh haha, sorry then... ya, a planet I guess...
I didn't see other stars so I dismissed it, but now that I think about exposition I realize my silly assumption - it would have to be a very slow plane indeed

thanks for vignetting explanation... so no special filters or use of covers? cool

well I used an ND and an ND grad, I suppose those could have played a role in the vignetting but I have never had any vignetting with these filters before(if I had it didnt notice it). I assume it has more to do with the fact that the only real light source is coming from the middle of the frame(the sun was getting ready to come up pretty right in the center of the frame).

Yeah, probably a planet, there were a few stars out when I got out to julian bay, this one stuck around longer than the others.
