This is Daitokage! An OK (Original kaiju) I created long ago when I was like 9

Before he was named 'Incredible Iguana' but I didnt like that name, so changed it to Daitokage, which is a combination of the Japanese words Dai for Big, and Tokage for Lizard or Reptile, which perfectly describes him as a 'Big Lizard' . The idea of a Giant monster Iguana was already done by the American Zilla anyway.

He is the main character of a series Ive been tryin to make for a while called 'Daitokage' (used to be Incredible Iguana) and he is just a normal pet lizard that the other main character; Miniko [link] owns. Miniko is a highschool girl of short stature that is apparently a huge fan of Kaiju, admiring their strength and Size

They live in the large Japanese city of 'Kyjoo' (I know its pretty lazy) the city is constantly under attack by Kaiju, especially since they are being produced by an evil scientist named Professor Konozawa, who wishes to take over the city with his giant pets. Kyjoo is protected by the KFD (Kyjoo Defense Force) which consists of special soldiers that include the Super Hero rangers that fight with large military vehicles that can merge into a giant mecha, and Monster Fighter, a man with a special suit that allows him to grow huge sizes and shoot beams with gestures.

However Konozawa stepped up his game and is making Kaiju attacks more numerous and worse, and the KFD isnt enough.

HOWEVER, There is an old legend in Kyjoo of a monk with great spiritual powers, and he was their protector while it was still a small village. There was an evil warlock that was his archenemy, that constantly attacked the village with his demons and black magic, but failed since the monk was so powerful. The evil warlock then came up with the plan of putting in all his demonic energy into an animal, changing it into a giant monster, which he subsequently used to beat the monk and destroy the village.

The monk was overcome with grief over his loss, but he decided to fight back. He found a lizard of his own, and perfored a ritual imbuing it with allot of his great spiritual energy, turned it into his own giant monster, which followed his every order. He used it to defeat the evil warlock and his beast, and from that day on, the monk protected the village with his giant monster as guardians. His legacy lived on through his sons and daughters, who continued to protect Kyjoo for generations to come. Unfortunately, the legacy came to a halt a century ago ago, leaving the KDF to be formed to deal with the giant monsters

The citizens of Kyjoo nowadays arent sure whether that legend is true or just a myth. Miniko has always been fascinated by this legend, and always believed it to be true. Later it is revealed that she IS HERSELF the current descendant of the monk centuries ago after performing the ritual (she was kidding around at the time) and transformed her pet lizard, into a gigantic monster. She couldn't believe it but it is revealed that her grandfather was the guy that stopped the legacy by changing his identity, as he wanted to decide his own destiny. Miniko and her giant companion; Daitokage, then decide to become the protectors of Kyjoo city, despite Miniko still being a schoolgirl, and the presence of the KDF at odds with Daitokage.

Daitokage has a normal form for convenience, but goes into his monster form everytime Miniko does the ritual chant, imbuing him with spirit energy that rapidly causes him to grow. He is about 50 feet tall in his monster form. He is extremely strong and his scales are resilient to most damage. He is also quite fast for his size with legs like a raptor, and his tail is also a very dangerous weapon. But his signature weapon is his Monster breath, where he charges up causing his spikes to glow, and lets out a huge beam of spirit energy, destroying anything in its path (Its kinda like a cero). Since he is powered with Miniko's Spirit energy, he is smarter than the average lizard, and follows Miniko's every order and because they share the same spirit power, they quite synchronised. Daitokage cares greatly for his tiny master, and gets very mad when she gets hurt. Daitokage's usual monster form is said to be JUST his normal monster form, and if he absorbs more spirit energy, can transform to become something bigger and stronger, ULTIMATE Daitokage (concept sketch of this forms design is in this [link] ).
