What I like most in this photograph is the sharpness! The crystal water on the front is a great example of a flawless technique!

In terms of composition the image is good, with the mountain in the middle appearing as the main subject and its reflection playing an also leading role.

Absolutely beautiful!

What is the best way to capture both surface and the rocks beneath the surface like you did in this shot? Certain time of the day? Camera angle? Filter? DOF? Thanx for any insights!

For this shot I used a ND filter which help even out the light. But you could also just shoot a few shots and then blend them.
