Description UPDATE (June 3, 2015) - Rearranged red text from smallest to largest.

Words have specific meanings. You can't throw around buzzwords and expect to either win an argument or make it seem more valid than it actually is. You also can't stretch their definitions to fit your position.

If you need to do those in order to make your point valid, then the problem isn't the definition. It's your argument.

Hateful on murder on genocide, so that's a good thing.

Hate is a toxic emotion that can be extremely dangerous when used recklessly towards anything.

True. I guess you could say PETA is an example of that. The way I see it, they are criticized because they're a target of opposition of the animal rights movement, but they speak from the perspective of the animals that are suffering, so they get angry and go to graphic protest methods, but that's exactly how animals held captive by the industries feel. Still, that's not a proper nor ethical method to convey a message, and it will actually give the public the wrong idea. Just recently they designed playmobil farm toys with slaughterhouse accuracy. I probably would have made a meme that reads "if farm toys were honest".

That's a perfect example! And I don't think any body wants to think that they're in the wrong about something they're passionate about.

No much people have compassion, unfortunately.

It depends on the situation and if one feels it's deserved.

Well plenty of people "keep them in their prayers" or say, "We'll be there in spirit" but without action their "compassion" has little to no grounding or weight.

Anti-gamergate has "compassion" for minorities and women, which is why they scream and shout those people down whenever they voice a different opinion.

From what I've seen, that's exactly what it's like.
